Röntgen's First X-Ray Tote
While experimenting with the passage of electrical current through low-pressure gasses on November 8th, 1895, Wilhelm Conrad Röntgen accidentally discovered x-rays - a highly energetic electromagnetic radiation capable of penetrating most solid objects.
On December 22nd of that same year, Röntgen produced the first known radiographic image. Some accounts say that this first image was of his wife, Anna Bertha's hand, while others say it is his own hand that was ionized by the x-ray discovery that would earn him the Nobel Prize for Physics in 1901.
This awesome tote commemorates that very first x-ray!
Dimensions: 15" x 15"
The main body of the tote is made from 100% spun polyester weather resistant fabric, while the handles are 100% natural cotton bull denim
